7th Avenue Diner - South Charleston

The server was very friendly and sported some stylish joggers. They recommended the chicken turf, which was fantastic. The baklava I chose for dessert was also incredibly delicious!

I visited Grano for the first time on its opening night, and I have to say I wasn't very impressed. The food lacked seasoning, and everything felt dirty. On the positive side, the portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. However, I believe in giving places a second chance, and I'm so glad I did with Grano! I ordered the same kebab as before, and what a difference! The food was fantastic. The real hidden gem here, though, is the pizza—it completely exceeded my expectations. I've been back several times since and even converted my parents into fans!

Overall, it was a great experience! The only issue I encountered was with the shrimp, which I had to send back. My friend, however, thoroughly enjoyed her meal. The owner kindly brought us a sample of a new dish featuring pasta and lobster, and it was absolutely delicious. Yum! Plus, the restaurant is right across from an American historical site.

The lentil soup was excellent and the vegetable amber plate was very good, but the pita was low quality and the tiramisu was frozen?? Really nice server but it seemed a very long wait for what we ordered. We'd probably see each other at Charleston's next visit.

Best gyro I've ever had. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Great tzatziki with fresh dill. Yum-o. Only complaints: the fries could use seasoning, and they don't serve alcohol. Otherwise it was a perfect experience.
