Rocas Mexican Grill - South Charleston

We had a family night out in honor of Jimmy Buffett's passing. The crowd was made up of young hipster folks who seemed unfamiliar with the great singer-songwriter, storyteller, and billionaire.

Four of us dined at a high-top table in the bar area, and our waitress was attentive and helpful. She suggested the chicken soup when I mentioned I was seeking a lighter option, and it did not disappoint! The soup was fantastic—the chicken was tender, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The rice, veggies, and cilantro served on the side were a great touch, allowing us to personalize the soup to our taste. The tortilla strips added a delightful crunch. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees as well, including a quesadilla, burrito, and chicken and rice. We look forward to returning!

Quick delivery of food. Delicious as always. I have never seen the white sauce they have at any other restaurant. The interior is lovely and there are plenty of choices on the menu. My only issue was the amount of vegetables in the fajita sizzler.

The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, our waiter was very nice and attentive. Atmosphere was terrific. I highly recommend this place!
