Everything has some kind of fish or oyster sauce in it at least. I think they are confusing vegan with vegetarian and that some “vegetarians” are confusing vegetarian with pescetarian/omnivore. The owner told me that she was told fish is okay. If this is your business I recommend you have a read of the Vegan Society’s definition of veganism and have a look into some vegan substitutes for fish and or oyster sauces. Ayam’s vegetarian oyster sauce is apparently vegan, and Niulife Cocomino Vegan Fysh Sauce. But there are many other brands offering vegan sauces. Alternatively, please stop advertising as vegan.
What a fantastic meal! Even my son, who is in his thirties and very picky, enjoyed it. Thank you so much.
Another fantastic meal, everything was so tasty and fresh. Thank you to the staff, you guys are amazing.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the chef is Thai, ensuring authentic flavors. I liked the green curry and pad Thai, although I would have preferred the pad Thai to be less saucy.
I ordered from a separate vegan menu and got the fried rice, pad thai, and red curry. The chef came out to let us know that the red curry contained fish sauce, so we changed our order to green curry. The food was delicious and would have been a 5-star experience if we had more trust in their understanding of vegan ingredients. I recommend specifying "no ice, no fish sauce, no oyster sauce" when placing your order to ensure clarity. They were very careful about our dietary restrictions. There aren't many vegan options in Carnarvon, so I would definitely return for another meal.
