Spaghetti House - South Brisbane

What great food and service. Especially Justine. We had tried to find food after our big conference day. Some places in south Brisbane turned us away. Why do they not want our custom? We had a lovely meal and great time. Thank you so much.

Went up for Magic round and our hotel recommended The food was so delicious and fresh and the staff were absolutely fabulous This restaurant has an extensive Gluten Free option lovely wine list and cocktails I had as a side the spring veggies they were...delicious I have tried to replicate but can’t do I will definitely be back next year for Magic round and will crave until then

This place is always packed, we have tried a few times to get a table for dinner but they have always been booked out as we havn't booked in advance but lucky for us we have never missed out as Jeremys cocktails have always kept...us very happy sitting up at the bar. Who needs food when he makes such good cocktails. Everytime we visit Brisbane we make sure we stop in.

I was here for a friends 21st birthday meal. There was quite a big group of us around 30. For $50 per head for a set menu of limited selection, I had high expectations. The meals were served to us on sharing plates without...even taking orders, I might have been okay with this for the starters....but to serve main meals like this was a joke. The meals themselves were poor quality, seemed like just pasta with a jar of sauce you could buy from the shop We had 2 vegans in the group including the birthday girl, although the family let Spaghetti House know this before hand, they were unaware at the time of serving. We raised this as an issue and they brought a salad plate out consisting of salad leaves and sliced pear with no other ingredients??? Staff were unhelpful and rushed us at every moment. It was obvious they didn't like dealing with a group booking but then...why agree it? The only saving grace was that the cocktails were amazing. Oh and to top it off.....the family brought in a birthday cake.....the restaurant policy is to charge $2.50 per slice of cake to serve. So $60 to cut a cake for our party. Wow. Avoid this place, complete waste of money.

We had a nice dinner, very interesting cocktail to start, the food was okay, nothing special, spaghetti Bolognese was fine, the gnocchi was a bit strong on the basil, the barramundi was a little overcooked, the service was good, it has quite a nice position...and airy. The tiramisu was very nice. It is the most detailed email I have ever received about a restaurant booking, about all the steps, for customers to follow, which is okay, especially about Covid rules, except that none of the wait staff wear their masks properly. The prices were reasonable
