Soleil Pool Bar - South Brisbane

Great venue. I visited here for NYE drinks one year and it is a great spot to watch the fireworks and have a drink with friends. Nice space and there are plenty of games to play.

Fantastic atmosphere although I was personally disappointed that there was no view. It was still very nice looking at the pool. I ordered fish and salad. For some reason they forgot the fish and it came out just as a salad. I spoke up straight away because I knew they should have been on the same plate. It still took ages for the fish to arrive. The salad was delicious and turned out to be the highlight anyway. The shaved fennel was like gossamer ribbons and was delicious. A complementary drink made up for the delay and I could have sat in one of the comfy chairs by the pool all afternoon if I'd had the time.

Had a party there, awesome list of cocktails and the service was awesome too, is at a great spot and the bar food is better than what I expected.

Came here for a pre Riverfire lunch with friends on Saturday and loved the Garden Party lunch! So cute and very tasty, some of the hot food could have been hotter but you get that with small bites! My favourite was the two mini donuts!

I use to LOVE this place for cocktails but Saturday night was not a great experience. Firstly the all time fav Singapore sling has changed taste on the downstairs menu and is not on the upstairs menu. The Mai thai has also vanished. I came especially for this drinks. I did try the Manhattan with different types of vodka per drink. We had stuffed olives in the cocktail 3 in each. I need to find a good cocktail bar.
