Jetty - South Brisbane

Sehr nette Bedienung guter Service. Haben sogar eine kleine Weinprobe bekommen in uns den richtigen auszusuchen. Wo ich ein Abstrich mache ist, dass man uns trotz der freien Plätze nicht rausgesetzt hatte, auch nicht nachdem die Küche zu war. Aber an der Bar war es auch sehr gemütlich.

I don't understand why people keep going for the view? There are at least four other bars/restaurants right next door with better service, less arrogant staff, better food and more reasonably priced drinks. Last night, The Jetty lost the potential for 15 repeat visits by Brisbane locals. At their prices, that is not an insubstantial amount! My advice? Go to River Quay Fish where I was the week before: brilliant, knowledgeable waiter who actually understands the service industry, good food and reasonably priced drinks - all with the same awesome view.

Great spot in South Bank overlooking the river, where we enjoyed the refreshing breeze as we sipped our sundowners. Adrian, our charmingly attentive waiter, guided us through the specials. The barramundi, served on sweet potato, peas and paella mash was delicious.

Great expectations turned to disappointment. Waiter was chummy but slow. Small amounts of expensive food on large plates. Delight my eyes, OK, but I'd prefer less of the decoration and more of the food.

What a super location this restaurant holds with a relaxed atmosphere coupled with a simple and effective menu.Good quality and trained staff look after you in a quite in rushed manner,well done Jetty team your making people happy keep up the good work.Highly recommended
