Franky’s Tacos - South Bend

Great Mexican food, really nice, attentive service. Love their taco bowl, quesaburria, carne asada, everything has been great. Their beans and rice are also tasty. While their tortilla chips aren't my personal favorite, they are still really good and are served with a fresh, tasty salsa. I would highly recommend Franky's if you want good, quality Mexican food.

One time I was offered a free drink while waiting for my to-go order.I love that the food is reasonably priced. I take cash so I can pick out songs on the jukebox, it's a bright atmosphere and always decorated for the season/current holiday. Taco Tuesday is a must, can't go wrong getting the chorizo.This restaurant is a gem for the South Bend river park neighborhood.

Never disappoints us! We have visited many times and always have great food, service and a clean restaurant. Would highly recommend the birria tacos!

I was in the area with my dad and brothers for the usc vs notre dame game and found this gem. Great food, excellent prices and awesome service!! If I’m ever in the area again, I’m going to Franky’s !!! Delicioso!!

Franky’s tacos is the best all around authentic Mexican restaurant in south Bend that isn’t some kind of big chain that I’m aware of. The quessabirrias I had were perfect. What I liked about them was they were smaller and easier to eat. Also, the way they presented them was also very nice. Great sit down Mexican restaurant. Definitely coming back!
