Tippecanoe Place - South Bend

We had a wonderful dinner! the server was excellent and eating and ambiente is always so beautiful. we always try to eat here when we are in the city and recommend the place to others.

The waiter had no personality. told us the specials and then he said better go check if something changed. in serious, our reservation was at 5:15 o'clock we were the only table in the room to the time with guests. he never asked one of the ladies at the table whether we care about another glass wein, but he asked the men. Just crazy! never was offered after dinner coffee, even tho that he offered dessert. my man steak was involved in a “interference on the stairs” (that, as it was told us) and unfortunately he had to wait and observe while the rest of the ate and they made him another ribeye. they took his meal out of the bill that was fair for her, we did not ask, and that was very good by the manager. it was less than par and we were a bit disappointed, as we had a hospitable with us who had never been there.

Our waiter was excellent and met our needs with a good job placement. the food was good, but not great for the price. my wife ordered a steak medium, but it rarely came back. the center was dark red and inconspicuous for them. my ribeye was cooked on request, but had a lot of fat in it. expected not a ruths chris quality steak, but better then I got from the kitchen.

Fantastic eating and service! will definitely be back. creme brûlée was amazing!

Luv the atmosphere at Tippecanoe place!! Always fun to visit. Even got to ride the elevator!!
