Chicory Cafe - South Bend

Love this place! my eating in south bend! my usual is the cancer mac and the cheese and beignets. hubby likes the Po’ young and muffulettas. a few days ago, they snuck out of the cancer, so I had andouille sausage mac and cheese. wowee was so good! literal loaded with sausage and light enough for two meals. I write this while I still eat a meal from the left and it is still absolutely delicious! I must add this to the rotation!

I was expecting more after reading the reviews. I had a shrimp Po Boy which was below average. I'm wondering if I just ordered the wrong menu item.

Nice sandwich. Nice coffee. Nice ambience. I'd like to spend more time here and try more of their food.

My coworkers I get lunch from here all the time! Jambalaya, Cuban sandwich the cajun shrimp are a few of our favs everything is great!
