We noticed that it was full of locals so we made the stop and ended up having lunch there for 3 days. A small family restaurant, serving daily specials. Eating there is like eating at home, the food is clean and tasty. Recommended highly for an Italian casual experience.
You can easily see my last review here. Nothing has changed. The eggplant parmesan is simply the best I have ever had away from home and the pasta e Fabiola and pasta e ceci are amazingly good and these dishes are €4 each and plenty filling. You fill find this place always busy as all the locals eat here. Every day there is a hand written menu board up. Some dishes can sell out quickly though! I eat here at least twice a week when I am in Sorrento. Fantastic family run place. As close to home cooking you will get anywhere!
Hidden a few minutes away from Piazza Tasso is Piazza S. Antonio. Through a little side street exiting the piazza you find this amazing spot. Homemade food cheap and delicious. The pasta fagioli and eggplant parmesan were fantastic. Only €4 each. They have a few choices each day. Friendly people and mostly locals. The fresh grilled tuna for only €6 looked great also. What a find!
Came here for lunch with my family. Wasn’t planning on it just stumbled across this place as I was exploring the town. Let me say this restaurant was amazing! Not only was it super affordable, but the pizza was probably the best I’ve had in Italy thus far. Staff was super friendly also. I will go back during my stay in Sorrento and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!!! Best lunch I’ve had in Italy!!!
The parmigiana melanzane was the best we had in Italy, super friendly brothers who serve home cooked meals and so cheap! A must try for a quick lunch or takeaway!
