Didn't really look forward to the making of the pizza, but breathed a sign of relief when learned the dough was already made. All we had to do was work it (stretch), put on our own toppings and have it cooked. Loved the whole thing and they make great wines as well.
We went here with a group.We made our own pizza ate it with good wine and toured the farm.it is in a very nice setting on a terraced hillside.This is a working farm and they make many products.
I came here as part of a school trip and we had a tour of the farm and we all made pizzas. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful if they tried. The pizzas we made were delicious and the tart was gorgeous. I can highly recommend this place!!!!!!
This restaurant is hard to find but well worth the effort. We were the only tourists there but were made to feel very welcome from the moment we booked. There is no menu and no wine list , but the excellent waiter Francesco with his perfect English made it very easy for us from the start. He explained all the dishes available, most made from produce from the farm, the food was high quality, tasty and great value. You’ll need a car to get there but it’s definitely worth the effort.
It is amazing how much this family has in this (only four? acres above Sorrento, much of it vertical: animals, pets, fruit trees, olives and olive oil, grapes... Our group had wine and cheese before touring the farm, then returned for cooking school. We watched them make mozzarella, then made a dessert tart, mixing and rolling out the crust, adding the (homemade jam. It baked while we made gnocci. Now THAT was an experience: mixing, rolling, cutting, pinching, imprinting and then knocking them off a fork. We dined on the gnocci improved by a fresh tomato sauce and the dessert. The instructor/owners were cheerful and helpful throughout. They do sell some of their olive oil and various jams.
