Texas Roadhouse In High Po

My wife and I went for dinner Friday around 6:30. There was a waiting list so I gave the hostess my name and was told it would be about 15 minutes. We went outside and waited and was texted and told our table was ready. We went inside and was put in another line about 8 people deep. We waited there for approximately 20-30 minutes to be seated! 2 people came in and were seated before us. When I asked why this was, I was told it was because they asked for a specific table. So let me get this right...No matter where you're at in line if you ask for a certain table and that table is available you get that table before others who have been waiting does? That doesn't make any sense to me. After waiting another 10 minutes we were finally seated but the table wasn't clean so we had to wait. Our server came over and was incredibly nonchalant, actually most of the wait staff seemed to be. I had to ask for bread 3 times to finally get some. The only bright spot was food. It was on point for both of us.

We were here for lunch a few days ago and the steak was the worst I ever had. Half of it was not edible. Very disappointing. The waitress was fantastic and gave us a break on some of the bill was nice. Probably won't be going back for a while.

I just don't understand why they have to open so late ..3pm ...

Always good food and service would highly recommend

I have to say ...I'm 62 n Shelly was by far the best waitress we ever had anywhere!
