Yati Cooking - Sofia

Great food and welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to come back and try some other dishes, I had the chicken soup, very delicious!

Last Saturday, October 8th, 2022, a friend I were visiting this restaurant for lunch. We hadn't planned to go and have our lunch here. But when we walked by, we heard music coming from the inside. People singing (with someone playing accordion) in the Bulgarian language. Celebrating a birthday, we learned later. We immediately, well at least I did, felt attracted, and decided to have our lunch here. The lunch was good. The wine also. And the ambiance, also due to the celebrating and singing people, was wonderful. Thank you!

Was really looking forward to having some food that reminded me of home. The Indonesian owner was really friendly, but sadly the food didn’t meet my expectations. Definitely a good break from Bulgarian food and I can see how the dishes would be interesting for Bulgarians, but the dishes weren’t authentic tasting. My beef rendang unfortunately didn’t taste like beef rendang plus the meat wasn’t tender, and the mee goreng didn’t hit the mark either.

Cozy clean restaurant! Food: Eating the meal with the small 2 sauce makes it better. But we wondered why the rice were cold,the only hot thing was the omelette. Maybe that’s Indonesian way. . Considering the price,food portions could be improved on. Price: for the menu for 2 people(what you see on the tray) plus red wine,water and can beer we paid 58,70bgn which was 30€. FYI -Sprinkling water was so cheap in comparison to other restaurants we have been to in Sofia. Service and Staff: service was fast and staff was friendly and helpful with carefully wrapping up our remaining wine so that it doesn’t spill as we take it home. Thanks!

Cozy place that offers Indonesian cuisine interesting and exotic. I tried a soup and main dish. The food was tasty, altough it could be saltier and the portions a bit bigger. The prices seemed reasonable. The owner is very nice and friendly!
