Sunmoon Shandor Petiofi - Sofia

Small store in a side street. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Food was labelled in Bulgarian and English. Vegan options were clearly marked. Prices seemed reasonable. I had two banitsa, one with spinach and another that I already forgot. Both tasted very well.

Just few steps away from NDK is the newest Sunmoon restaurant and bakery. Awesome fresh and mostly vegan food. Some vegetarian and raw options. Soups, salads, main courses and desserts are served in the daily menu. Enjoy with a smile

One of the few places where you can find vegan banitsa. I had one filled with chickpeas and spinach, an amazing strudel, and a vegan cookie.

So glad there is a branch of this bakery around the corner from our place. They have delicious bread fresh out of the oven and some other bakery goods for breakfast or an inbetween snack. There‘s also a selection of vegan spreads and vegan cheese and a delicious Christmas menu to order from for the holidays every year. Some of the products are definitely overpriced, but it‘s still so good to have a store like that in the hood.
