Simple Taste The World - Sofia

Simple may have a well-decorated restaurant, but the staff and service are anything but impressive. Both servers were disinterested, making us feel like an inconvenience, and the 15 minute wait between my friend's dish and mine was nothing short of infuriating. To top it all off, the pasta bolognese was ok. Definitely not worth the Michelin referenced in the menu. Finally, when I asked for a fork, the server seemed to ignore me completely. It's clear that the only thing simple about this establishment is their lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Save yourself the headache and avoid Simple at all costs.

The food is very good and tasty, and the staff was professional. We had caprese salad, oven baked gamberoni, tagliatelle manatarki, rigatoni, 2 desserts and 3 glasses of wine. Total was 150bgn, so it's a bit on the expensive side. Interior is modern in an industrial style. It's a bit noisy inside when it's full, but definitely a nice place.

This hip looking and beautifully designed restaurant unfortunately is staffed by people that think they are in the food and beverage serving business, when I’m fact they are in the hospitality business. Service was aloof and indifferent. It felt like they thought we were lucky to be dining there. Food was mediocre and main courses were brought at different times with no explanation or apology for one diner’s extended wait. Have not been his put off by service staff in a very long time. Dine at your own risk of disappointment.

Awful service. We went for lunch on Saturday. We ordered two meals. We waited for 40 min. and got a wrong order. Then we were told that if we’re prepared to wait for another 25 minutes, we’ll get our initial order. With so many nice places around, I don’t think it’s worth to endure such attitude.

Honestly, for an Italian restaurant this is just pretty expensive and not worth your money for the quality and quantity of food they deliver. The interior is fine and the staff is friendly but beyond that it's normal Italian Dishes 3x the normal price. You can do better.
