Elate Plaza Sofia Business

Beautiful place to stay! I visited the city for work, but I took a great relaxation! Thanks for the great welcome, service, accommodation, location is simply perfect! Staff (especially Radi and Dayana) are so good at their job! The restaurant is cozy and well arranged, the food is really delicious. I highly recommend the hotel for a work visit (a short distance from the Inter Expo) or just a few days in Sofia! Thank you. I'll visit again!

I was lost in sofia (nov 2022.) as soon as I got into the elate plaza, I was greeted by the young man who spoke super English, he gave a suppe and bier 20 leva called a taxi.

The first thing was that when we arrived at 23:00 the receptionist charged us 10 euros more than he should have, after confronting him and discussing it with the owner he gave us back 5 euros. Basically he STEALED 5 euros from us, this is a normal and usual practice as he did the same thing to 3 other clients. The room was dirty, the carpet on the floor above all, the bathrooms were dirty and old. The bathtub had no plug so you could not take a bath. The mattresses were uncomfortable and with strange lumps. The bed sheets were too small. The light in the room was insufficient and the refrigerator did not work well, it was full of stinky water. We were very cold as the heating did not work. The third night there was a fight in the corridors and room on the same floor as us. The reception did not come up at any time. The next day there was glass and blood in the hallway. Breakfast was poor and insufficient, if you wanted two orange juices there was none. There was no hot milk. Undoubtedly the worst hotel experience, at least the location was good.

Hotel seems to be literally run by 1 man. bad breakfast/restaurant times, everywhere signs that if u smoke u get charged with a cleaning fee, room full with these signs its all unfriendly.... dirty carpet, no bed sheets, you cant look thru the windows, you cant take a bath, terrace didn't exist. overall way to expensive, really expected more from 4 star hotel. felt like an hour hostel

Terrible! Dirty! Old! Air conditioner from the 18 century! To avoid !
