La Fruta Loca - Smyrna

We stopped for drinks and realized that this was a beautiful hidden gem of Smyrna, right out in the open. And their churros are amazing!

Oh my goodness! We stumbled upon this place while we were next door, and everything we saw looked incredible. We ordered frozen yogurt and a mangoneada (I think that's what it's called). The frozen yogurt was a delightful mix of fruit and ice cream, and we chose vanilla – it was fantastic! As for the mangoneada, it was possibly the most unique treat I've ever had. It featured fresh mango, what I believe was mango sorbet, combined with some spicy elements and a sweet/sour/spicy straw. It was absolutely delicious! I wasn't surprised to see about six of those being made while we were there, and it wasn't even that crowded. So good! If you haven't checked this place out yet, you definitely should!

This roadside gem offers delicious burritos accompanied by mildly spicy escabeche and a refreshing salad made with cilantro and radishes. Absolutely fantastic!

I absolutely love street tacos, and this place definitely delivers an authentic flavor. The only thing to note is that if you're not a fan of green onions or cilantro, this restaurant might not be for you. They pile on the herbs, which can be fantastic for some people but not so much for others. Personally, I really enjoy it!
