The best restaurant to have Mexican food in Sligo. El polo loco (chicken) box is recommended. Superb is quality and quantity too. They also have some student discounts.

This used to be mine and hubby’s favourite place to eat everytime we went to Sligo! We went yesterday to satisfy my pregnancy cravings and were so disappointed. The food has gone downhill I got a chicken burrito with Fresca salsa, black beans, cheese and jalapeños. The chicken tasted weird (not off but a indescribable weird flavour). Not sure if they have hired a new chef but if so they need a new one or plead with the previous chef to come back! All the front of house staff have changed to and are not as friendly as previous staff.

Great location. Great food, always very consistent in quality. Can get very busy at lunch time. Order ahead online to save time. No parking, all pedestrianised, adds to the charm.

Not hot enough. The mix in the wrap was not mixed enough so you got a mouthful of rice then a mouthful of sour cream etc
