The Embassy Steakhouse - Sligo

My meal was enjoyable, but unfortunately, two people in our group of 10 did not receive their food. We had to cancel their order after everyone else had finished eating. Additionally, some of the extra sides we had ordered never arrived, but were still included on the bill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Absolutely appalling service 1 girl to serve 16 people booked a table for 6:30 got some of our starters 8pm rest waiting another 15 minutes for soup main course was a complete letdown my food was cold and veg were hard we booked pool tables and then told we couldn’t use them would never come back staff extremely rude

Service was deplorable. Waited 30 mins for a drink then the waiting staff told us (party of 12) that anyone ordering steak must order it the same way ' to make it easier for the chef '. Steak was worst I 've had. Poor form.

I have been a regular customer of the Belfry Bar/Embassy for 30 years. I find their policy of reserved tables to be absurd. Just two weeks ago, I visited Lolas and found that every table in the place was reserved for Hen and Stag parties, yet no one showed up to use them. Yesterday, during one of the biggest Rugby finals in years, I observed that many tables were reserved. Despite spending a significant amount of money, my group of 8 was moved during the match because a pre-booked table of 6 tourists was arriving for food and showed no interest in the game. I believe that the restaurant needs to reconsider its reservation policy.

The restaurant was severely understaffed and the staff seemed to lack proper training. When I asked for dips to accompany our starter, a member of staff rudely refused, stating they were not taking food orders. Despite explaining that I just wanted the dip that should come with our starter, the staff member dismissively repeated she was not taking food orders and walked away rolling her eyes. There was no salt or pepper on the table, only hand sanitizer gel. We had to ask for our main course multiple times, and each time our request was met with eye rolls. Overall, I was seriously disappointed with the service.
