Nola Southern Grill - Slidell

Great food, great service. We had the corn and crab bisque, gumbo and charbroilled oysters. Not busy at all on Saturday March 5th at noon. We were informed the oysters would be a 30 minute wait and that the wait is a normal practice. Other than the ridiculous wait time everything else was great. Price for our lunch meal with 15% gratuity for 3 people was $55. There is a much cheaper lunch menu if preferred. Delicious cajun and creole delights. Bon appetit!

The food was actually very good. We had the seafood platter the chicken and mushrooms. Both very nice portions And tasty! I suppose a couple could actually share a meal to save some bucks. Tho, The drinks on the menu where extremely pricey. The reason I give four stars is because it was a Saturday night and we where told they didn’t have change to give us back literally $14 dollars. We assume this wasn’t so and the waitress may have wanted the entirety for a tip. I would say management may need to address this. The night was pleasing until that last issue.

The food was really good and excellent service. The only complain was that our onion ring from the plater was under cook the waitress went to get it change but they actually refried them (one of them was bite twice by me and me husband) I thought that was kind of not right for them to do.

We ordered the Gatorbisse, carbonated oysters, red beans and rice and Nola Burger. We ordered to take it and everything was pretty good. It was definitely better than previous times we ordered here.
