Peck's Seafood - Slidell

The food was served quickly and was hot. The $1.50 extra charge for sweet potato fries felt a bit steep, but they were quite delicious. The hamburger was slightly dry and came with just red onion, lacking in other toppings. The hush puppies became quite hard as they cooled off and didn't reheat well the next day. Overall, it was a good experience.

Initially, I was taken aback by the fast food appearance of this restaurant, but after trying their delicious dishes, I was really glad I decided to stop by. While the crawfish are only available seasonally, they offer a variety of fantastic sandwiches and other menu items. Don’t let the fast food vibe deter you—this place is truly a gem!

I had a great experience at the restaurant. I ordered the fish platter, which was lightly seasoned—a perfect choice for me since I need to limit my salt intake. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and the clientele was quite mature. It's conveniently located just 1.6 miles from the TA truck stop, so truckers, feel free to take a walk there!

My wife and I love Peck's, we've been going here for years and never have been disappointed one time. Very clean restaurant, exceptional fried or boiled seafood and the best hamburger I've ever had at a restaurant.

Great seafood, clean restaurant and great service. Had an amazing meal of shrimp Po boy and gumbo, as well as a side of hush puppies. All were fresh, hot and delicious!! Huge menu that had me second guessing my selection, but the fresh shrimp was to hard to pass on. I'll be back more often if I'm in town!
