Phillip, the To Go server, was absolutely excellent both on the phone and in person. He was friendly and energetic all the time. Christian, the bartender, mixed me a very tasty drink while waiting for my order to be prepared, and we had a great conversation. What I'm looking for in a bartender. Will definitely visit this place more often. Great work. Christian and Phillip stop it!
We went to get fireworks at Big Gorilla and decided to stop and grab lunch at BJ's since I have heard from a friend about this place. It was after around 2pm and place was not busy at all. But our food took a really long time. They brought the salad and the chili first. The chili was actually cold. Had to ask the waitress to microwave it for us. The food was decent, the service was not as good as I wished. It was cold and the floor was greasy and sticky. It was a less than average experience. I don't think I would come back again.
Ordered salmon and couscous to go. When I arrived home and took out my food out I almost screamed. This is what I got the leftovers that the gracious workers left with me. They might as well have just eaten the whole thing.
We drove an hour to get here and it was worth the drive. The place was really awesome. Good vibes !! We ordered a lot of food: Chicken pennies was so filling and a lot. Mozzarella sticks was great too. Flatbread pizza was alright. Veg burger was juicy. The taco with fish and shrimp was yum. The onion rings weren’t think enough to taste the onions, it just felt like having the crunch of breading. The ice-cream with white chocolate chip base was delicious. We were very excited for the ice cream for sure. The service was very satisfying. The server who served our table was very nice. He made sure that everything was right on table and brought our orders on same and kept checking on us. It is a must place to hang out with friends and families.
My wife and I thought we would give BJs a shot. We were on our way home from Mississippi. My wife got the mahi-mahi tacos and I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both looked nice my wife enjoyed her tacos and the fresh chips. I was a little let down on my Nashville “not so hot” chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked perfectly but the hot sauce was less than lack luster. Fries were ok at best. Over all not all that thrilled but we were in and out pretty quickly. Staff was friendly and attentive.
