Miguels Pizza - Slade

This is the worst pizza we have ever had. We ordered sausage and a few other toppings, but the sausage had a horrible taste that we have never experienced before. It was very pale in color and definitely did not taste like authentic Italian sausage. We were very disappointed with our experience.

We stopped for vegan pizza around 8 pm, just before reaching our camping site near the natural bridge area for the weekend. I was thrilled to find a solid vegan option here, as vegan menu items are hard to come by in the rural America where I live and travel. The restaurant was busy and loud, and we waited over 45 minutes for the one pizza we ordered. Positive aspects: vegan cheese, many topping options, and the pizza was hot. Negative aspects: the vegetable toppings we chose lacked flavor, as did the crust. Disappointing for a busy pizza place.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding and fast. They had a wide variety of delicious pizza toppings to choose from. While the quality of the pizza was decent, I found the sauce to be a bit bland for my liking, which was the main downside for me.

I enjoyed sitting outside at this restaurant. The pizza was enjoyable but I would not recommend the meatball sandwich as it was not good.
