Blue Water Grill - Skaneateles

Walked in on a Friday nite and was seated in about b 20 minutes. Ordered the Santorini steak and the gorgonzola steak special. Both were excellent...full of flavor, good size portions, perfectly done steak. We were seated close to the door. Not very atmospheric but the service was great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The overall experience at Blue Water Restaurant was satisfactory, although the view was not particularly impressive. Like many restaurants in Central New York, the lack of spice in the dishes was noticeable. The food was quite bland, but this seems to be a common issue among eateries in the area. The interior of Blue Water was pleasant, but the service was below average, although it was late afternoon. I would be willing to give them another chance, but will definitely avoid the lobster bisque. The corn and scallop stew was a much better option. Personally, I am not a fan of the Nashville Chicken, but being from the South, I believe it would be better suited there. The dressings were delicious, however, the Ginger Ale was not to my liking.

We visited this restaurant for lunch during our day out. The food was superb and the service was fantastic! The only downside was that we were seated in the back near the door, so we didn't have a good view of the water. Overall, we rated the service, food, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. The price per person was between $10-20.

The hostess was extremely unpleasant and unaccommodating. Food was good especially the Buffalo chicken egg rolls. Lina/Lena ? saved the day. She was so sweet and just such a doll.
