The beer battered Friday night fish fry this time a year is always outstanding

It was our first time there we were very confused no one gave us much information. They have burgers and fried chicken and they had a special along with the fine dining, it was assumed that we were there for the special. They had a tasting menu out when you first came in which sounded wonderful and I wanted it but then I ordered and it was a different tasting menu the one I saw was for a certain date but it didn’t say that on the print out. The seats we got were very cold we asked to be moved after some attitude we were accommodated. We wanted fine dining we get the menu there’s only one Chardonnay very limited wine we asked to taste the wine which was given, Ordered two glasses then we find out that they have a wine menu that’s what we really wanted so we ended up ordering bottle. Too bad we had to drink two crappy glasses of wine to have this option . The food was good but my lamb Didn’t seem to have been salt and peppered it at all during preparation. The waterbread person was excellent. This dinner was for my husbands birthday, but no one cared about that, I kind of expected a decorative writing on the dessert.Drove an hour to get there, not in a hurry to go back. The oysters were awesome. Things would have been fine if there was better communication.Would recommend with if you know what your getting into. BTW cost was close to not necessarily complaining about that just expected not to have to be there for almost an hour before we had a decent glass of wine
