The Stamford Brasserie - Singapore

Dining at The Stamford Brasserie is a relaxed and chill affair. I didn’t try the set lunch but it seems value-for-money. I tried out the barramundi which was delicious; tender and fresh, firm but soft. I also tried the homemade gelato and really liked the pistachio flavoured one. Also, they have quite a large variety of beers to choose from.

This restaurant is conveniently located at City Hall, right next to McDonald's. The food is quite good, especially the roast chicken thigh, which comes with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The staff were attentive and checked in to see if we were comfortable with the slightly pinkish color of the chicken, which was due to their cooking method. The pan-fried barramundi was also excellent. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were full of flavor. I probably wouldn't have tried this place if it weren't for the Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 deals on main dishes.

The food was excellent; both the kebab and the pulled pork sandwich were delicious. I definitely recommend trying them. The mozzarella and tomato salad was refreshing and nicely balanced. I didn’t try any drinks, but it looked like there were good happy hour deals and a great selection of craft beers, especially in bottles. I deducted a star due to the slow service and the waffle fries being overly fried.

This charming restaurant is tucked away in the hotel lobby. While the main menu offerings are somewhat limited, there's still enough variety for a satisfying meal. I wouldn’t have discovered it without the Entertainer app. The pulled pork is quite tasty, but the stew is even better. The coffee was intricately crafted and presented with an interesting design.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this place. The staff were professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all our questions. We decided to share our meal, ordering six main dishes and two sides. If you have a vegetarian in your group, I highly recommend trying the Impossible Burger! The food quality was impressive— the chicken was tender, and the ribs were cooked perfectly. One standout dish was the 'One Pot Chicken Stew,' which is a delightful mix of stew and shepherd's pie, making it quite unique. There are several promotions available, including Chope and Entertainer, which can help you save some money. Overall, I definitely plan to return with a smaller group to explore the menu further. The ambiance is also great for a date, as the lighting is dim and cozy!
