I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and was impressed by the cozy atmosphere, beautiful decor, and music. The menu was easy to understand, and I had the chance to try almost all the dishes offered. The sashimi and raw ingredients were fresh, and most of the dishes were well-prepared. Notable highlights include the unexpected delight of the lobster porridge, which provided a nice change after indulging in yakitori. The garlic fried rice was so delicious that we ordered multiple servings, and I appreciated the chef's willingness to cater to my spicy preferences with a customized version. Additionally, the chicken karage was perfectly fried and remained juicy inside. The Orion beer from Okinawa (which was not included in the buffet) complemented the fried foods and yakitori well. While I'm not usually one for dessert, the variety available was enjoyed by the other diners with me. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here on a Wednesday night. We opted for the premium buffet and had a great experience. The service was quick and efficient, and the seafood was fresh. The oysters were especially delicious! We appreciated that we were able to order in portions. I was impressed by the ordering system, where my husband took his time ordering and our waiter, who turned out to be the friendly and polite owner of the restaurant, had my dishes at our table before he had even left.
I celebrated my daughter's birthday at Kushi and the complimentary cake was lovely, not overly sweet. The food was fresh and delicious with a wide variety to choose from. I plan to try the premium options next time to see why the oysters and king prawns at the next table looked so good. It was nice to see a Japanese restaurant offering wine to enjoy with the meal.
