Surprisingly their spicy rigatoni was good too! They definitely did the tomato base right. Their threadfin was also another highlight of our meal. Apart from the skin being more scaly than usual, the meat was tender and juicy. We all had food coma after that. Service was excellent and the vibe was just lovely. Would be back for their oysters for sure!
Went here for the oysters wine and ended up ordering a couple snacks in addition. The croquette was creamy perfectly crispy, the grilled cabbage was absolutely scrumptious. Loved all of the oyster varieties we tried. Our server was so attentive and gave us some great wine recommendations!
Excellent place. The staff are outstanding. Very helpful, polite, and friendly. Love the oysters (you can get lots of them during happy hours). Amazing cocktails! Expensive place though.
A neighborhood seafood restaurant in the same building as their well known bars: jigger pony, gibson, and live twice. Humpback offers sharable small plates and dishes curated from fresh ingredients from the 'sea, land, and the garden '. Both the restaurant ambience and the food style really gives a casual, hip, breezy american-style seafood resto vibes. I really enjoyed the dishes here- great flavors and very fresh ingredients. It is perfect for a lunch spot with your friends where u can down a bunch of oysters over happy hour (opening til 18.30 and share a bunch of delicious small plates together! The charred cabbaged here is really something — so delish! I personally also loved this place because i havent had great american oysters in asia since my time living in boston! (Most fresh oysters in asia that i find that are high quality are usually from france or europe so this was a big plus factor! Overall great casual lunch spot with easy going dishes but might not hit the right mark for dinner.
Came here cause someone recommended oysters and we ended up having a whale of a time with all the fantastic dishes on the menu! Every single dish hit the right notes, very balanced, and our feast ended off with a flourish when we took a bite of our very first gluten-free chocolate cake! And that’s a fun fact for those who are on a gluten-free diet, there’s an option to choose gluten-free for most of the dishes here. What we ordered: 5 cheese croquette, charred cabbage, scallop ceviche, big eyed tuna, skrei cod, spicy rigatoni, flourless chocolate cake, and of course the oyster platter! All happening during oyster happy hour
