First Watch - Simpsonville

This place has really gone downhill! I used to have breakfast here once a week and at first the food was fairly consistent (I always order the same thing). The last few times I went, which was over the course of several months, the food was AWFUL! I ordered a cinnamon roll that was served still frozen in the center. Customizations we 're ignored. Eggs were raw.. there were issues like these at every visit. But the very last time I visited, every single thing my party ordered was awful. One guest with a dairy allergy was served a dish smothered in sour cream (of course, they ordered it to be dairy free). Before it was even placed on the table, the food runner was made aware that it was made wrong, they apologized, and said they 'd remake it correctly. Several minutes later, they brought out the EXACT same plate of food except most of the sour cream had been scraped off, and from sitting in the back it was now cold. I was appalled! To add insult to injury, another person in the party had ordered a jalapeño cornbread that came out burnt to a crisp. This time, we told the server that it was exceptionally over cooked, which he agreed with, apologized, and said he 'd bring a less well done one . Same scenario this time..a few minutes later, the exact same, burnt to a crisp jalapeño cornbread was reserved to our table. At this point we sent back both dishes and asked to have them removed from the check. Initially the server said they would only to return a moment later saying the manager wouldn 't remove the dishes! The compromise was that we could choose 1 dish off the menu for them to prepare as a to go meal at no additional charge. We stated we just wanted the cost of the inedible food removed, but they firmly refused. When all was said and done, the $25 for food we never even touched remained on our bill. I will never be back!

The food and service have always been top notch and very customer-centric. On the service side, I think I’d give Krista some additional training, like speaking directly to the customer and waiting for an answer. It wasn’t busy, so there was no excuse for careless service today. You guys are great, I hope it stays that way.

1st visit.Spacious sitting area, Good Food that was ordered and served in a timely manner. The food order was correct. Pleasant staff.

So I had stopped here with friends on my way home from a nice staycation of sorts and it was the perfect end to it all. The atmosphere walking in was great with no trouble getting seated and a modern rustic decoration lining all the walls. The service was quick and the server was very nice and helpful. The food itself was the highlight of course, we ordered a starter of the million dollar bacon and I got the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy for my meal and it was perfect. The bacon alone was a flavor bomb of salty and sweet with a tiny kick of heat, and the biscuits and gravy was a great breakfast to start your day, with the roasted potatoes and eggs cooked just right and the biscuits themselves being extra fluffy. I also wanted to try the iced coffee special they had at the time and it certainly was a good choice. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area if you're looking for some delicious food with family or friends.

Had a fantastic experience thanks to Krista my waitress! Not only was my food top notch but got the best service from the most beautiful and kind waitress ever! 10/10 would give more stars if I could!
