O'charley's Restaurant Bar

I am rating 5 stars because our server, Emily was excellent! She said she was usually a cook and took an additional layer of waiting tables tonight. She's the best waitress we've had for years! This restaurant is lucky to have it! Oh, and the food was good too!

You know, you 'd think if you paid $65.00 for a good meal for both, you and your spouse it would be worth something!!! Well, it wasn 't! The sad part is I 've given this place 3 chances and I 'm never bias before going, because I genuinely want to see this place get it right! I door dashed my meal this time, because I 'm going through chemotherapy and just couldn 't be out. It took the dasher 8 minutes to get to my house from the restaurant. Now my husband had the steak and rib combo. Steak wasn 't medium well, it was well, ribs didn 't have BBQ sauce it was barely brushed, and the coleslaw looked as if it had been sitting for 3 days. I myself had the Cajun pasta, the chicken appeared shredded, as if it was taken off a whole Chicken, and my pieces were the crust, the chicken and pasta was dry, I can 't make this up, it was dry enough to touch and NOTHING would get on your hands!!! We don 't have$65 to give away with all the medical challenges Anyway, but I truly couldn 't even call and complain because 3 strikes means, give it up! And all they will say is oh we 'll gladly fix you another meal at a later date if its anything like what I 've received, NO THANKS! TRUST ME..... JUST EAT ELSEWHERE, this isn 't the place for anyone!!!

Overall the food was really good but the service and lack of cleanliness is what killed it for us. We waited 10 minutes at our table to be greeted and it took nearly 25 to get our appetizer. We watched tables around us be cleared from newly departed customers and learned quickly why the floors were covered in food and trash debri. It?s because they just swept food and trash from the table onto the chairs and floor without any care to clean it up. Look closely at the pictures and you?ll see food remnants on the chair of table nearby.

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars! It was the worst experience I have ever had. I found a dead fly grilled on my hamburger bun, which was absolutely disgusting. I am completely disgusted with O'Charleys in Simpsonville. It is unacceptable that no one noticed the fly on my food before it was served to me. This was a clear case of negligence, unsanitary conditions, and incompetence. This was the second time my order was messed up in a month. The first time, my food was spilling out of the to-go box and touching the inside of the bag. I received a refund for that order, but I should have learned my lesson then. I will never go back to this restaurant again!

Loved this place! In town for work and happened upon O'Charley's for dinner. Sat at the bar and Kota the bartender couldn't have been any nicer. Dinner and drinks were great! I had the cedar plank salmon ?I'll definitely come back when I'm in town
