Costco Food Court - Simi Valley

Great, inexpensive food. One doesn't go to Costco for the ambiance!

The newer system that the Simi Valley location has setup with the self help kiosks to order your food is a good idea. But I think the lines for the court need to have guide bars to the windows as they tend to get co gested and people cut one another too easily.Food is always A+ at Costco. No doubt. Additionally the employees are super friendly.

I purchased gas at 7:30 am on Friday, 11/24/23 and sat in my car because it was cold. It was taking a long time and the pump was not shutting off. I get out and there is gasoline spewing out of the tank all over the place. Young kid starts to clean it up but it is all over the car, we 're walking through it and I paid $16 more than I needed to for gas. I asked him what I do next and he says when store opens, ask for a refund. Due to holiday, I go back and speak with manager on Tuesday, 11/28/23. She doesn 't really know what to do but tells me the Gas Superintendent wants to speak with me and to go speak with him. He doesn 't believe 4 gallons of gas spewed from car and offers me a Pizza. I said forget it . Gas versus Pizza. Came home and decided to change my Executive membership $120 to Gold $60 to get my money back.

If you are black you will get profiled. While walking in with about 7-10 more people who were white and Asian. Me the only black female was yelled out to show my membership card.! I turned around and said I have it and kept walking . Then the associate name Casey a older Asian man demanded I show my membership cardWhile he let 10 more people go by without showing their membership card. It was so obviously uncomfortable a lady and her daughter said to me oh wow he didn 't even ask me or my daughter I was sure he was going to try and search you next in a joking matter because how clear of day he was racial profiling me. I will not go to that location ever again..!!!

One thing is getting expensive but the worst part some of them are very rude , and then and you way out they pick and choose which customer they may be check the purchase one by one or they just give a look and keep moving the line , it happened to me I felt discriminated.
