Moctezuma's Mexican Restaurant Tequila Bar

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. I got food poisoning and the server was pushy and awkward when trying to be flirty. The service was poor overall, and the atmosphere was just okay. Prices were $20–30 per person for lunch. The only dishes I would recommend are the Chimichanga and Side Chips and Salsa.

I took my mother-in-law to this restaurant a few weekends ago. We both ordered drinks and mole dishes. The drinks were okay, but my margaritas tasted more like juice. Unfortunately, our mole dishes were extremely salty, so much so that they were inedible. This was the first time I have ever had to send food back at a restaurant. We were disappointed as we had been excited to try this popular spot. We ordered the "manager's special" and only paid for half of the inedible food. However, it did not seem like they tried the food in the back to verify our complaint, as we still had to pay for the uneaten dishes. The service was mediocre. The restaurant is usually busy, so maybe looking into complaints is not a priority during busy nights. I hope that the other dishes at the restaurant are better since it is always packed. Overall, our experience was not great and I feel compelled to share it whenever I can. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

The restaurant is very noisy. The waitress should speak louder. The food was excellent, but the drink was not very strong. Overall rating: Food 5, Service 4, Atmosphere 4.

The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is always fantastic, but the service can be inconsistent. Regardless, everything else makes it worth a visit! Highly recommend.
