The staff is friendly and delivers your meal to your table so you can sit down and wait. They also have steamer class and mussels, which I did not try but will most definitely have on my next visit!
Nice restaurant, friendly staff, the food gets a solid just ok from me. Its not bad, but its not anything amazing. The clam chowder is good. Everything else is kind of bland and lacking flavor/texture. For a sea food restaurant in the PNW, I think they can do better. Also the batter they use on their fried items is awful. I 'm not hating on this place, its just a solid ok . I 've been here at least 3 times and given it a solid try, and probably won 't be back any time soon.
Not good. Fish was like the frozen fish you can buy in any grocery store. Not crisp at all. Fries were cut too large so they taste mushy, Nice staff but probably will never eat there again.
I always enjoy lunch here at Kettlefish... The food is quite tasty but I do have one irk. That is that I get my chowder about 20 seconds before my order of fish and chips comes up. So, if you are going to bring food out to me in courses, maybe you should wait to cook my fish a few minutes? I'm fine if everything comes out at once, but just pick one, okay?
Have heard amazing reviews and decided to try for date night. We ordered bouillabaisse, crab Mac and cheese, mussel steamer, clam chowder. The only dish with flavor was clam chowder. The bouillabaisse was so heavy on tomatoes and celery and hardly any fish and the broth had no flavor. The mussel steamer looked like they used water and a splash of cream to steam as the broth was barely hazy and no garlic or butter by sight or taste. The crab Mac abs cheese had a generous portion of crab but had no flavor or seasoning, barely even tasted of cheese. We are leaving $85 lighter and heading to dinner elsewhere.
