I experienced the support of customer service, but I was not too enthusiastic about their service times. I ate here for two weeks, and still my BAS was taken. The DFAC has some nice touches, such as the naturally seasoned water and its salad bar. Indeed, their hours are terrible. You open strictly around 1130, so there is a huge line right before and for 15 minutes before you go in and near to fast. If they could improve something, their hours would be. Also they are not open on weekends, so again that BAS is gone, but the facility is not open.
Food tastes better with the feet together Food: 3/5
The food here is terrible. I was all over the world at various installations. This DFAC is the worst. I really can't decide if this facility is worse than the other facility on the postal route. The food usually lacks taste. The sections can be uneven. The chicken breasts are, for example, often small and cooked to the consistency of an ice hockey puck - if they serve it this meal. The food is terrible. At least they're consistent.
My friend got Food poisoning from the raw chicken. I didn’t. Don’t bring weak people here. This is a United States Army Dining Facility, Not a Chuckie Cheeses.
For an Army DFAC, this one was probably the best I've been to. The salad bar offerings werr actually really high quality, lots of fresh fruit and veggies. The cooks do a good job with what they have and the staff and servers are all really friendly and welcoming. The soups were actually really good too, I was impressed. Credit where credit is due.
