Otherwise the restaurant is good. However, any number of Chinese restaurants in the area offer as a wide selection of vegan dishes. Also try these, even if they are not allowed to be listed on HappyCow.
Excellent vegan and vegetarian entrees and appetizers. warm and welcoming. The curry tofu us our favorite.
There are a lot of vegan choices available at this restaurant. The vegan roasted tofu rolls were delicious. I tried the lemongrass tofu, which was a generous portion and very flavorful. We also ordered the edamame, which was excellent.
Lucky Cow only allows for a maximum of five stars for fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants, so the highest rating I can give Indochine is four stars. However, overall, I would give this restaurant five stars. The service at Indochine is exceptional and the food is delicious and served promptly. While the restaurant aims to offer vegan and vegetarian options, there are some errors on the menu, such as listing egg as an ingredient in the vegan roasted rice dish. The primary server, who often manages the entire dining room, is fantastic and understands dietary preferences. She will inquire whether you want the vegan roasted rice with or without egg. Other servers may not be as knowledgeable, so it is important to clearly communicate your preferences when placing your order.
I also appreciate the effort Indochine makes to provide good vegetarian and vegan options in Sierra Vista. While there may be some mislabeled items, the owner Tony is happy to accommodate substitutions or requests. I have tried almost all dishes from the vegetarian/vegan section and my favorites are the vegan rolls and lemongrass tofu. This restaurant is also active in the community, volunteering and donating, which adds to their service-oriented approach to business.
