Sam's Southern Eatery - Shreveport

The location is great, but the complex of this building is old and outdated. When the place looks down, you ask yourself how the kitchen must be! Therefore give the idea, do not want food from this place.

These are the worst sams all over Shreveport. You have no idea how to season chicken (no salt or any taste at all). The red beans and rice were crispy. I had to go back in to add salt to the grilled chicken because it had no spices and was more dry than Turkey! I told the checkout. I know? Try another location AVOID this!!

I dine here frequently, and the portions are always substantial. I tried the chicken Philly for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. They really know how to caramelize the onions perfectly.

Philly cheese steak was good But fish and shrimp were terrible. We do not feel a fish that is dried inside and the taste of oil in food. I usually eat it in different sams and always perfect, but they do not recommend it at all.

I wouldn't recommend anyone visit this restaurant. They've recently changed management, and the food has declined significantly. The portion sizes are smaller, the shrimp are also smaller, and the okra was burnt. Additionally, prices have increased. I ordered the 12 grilled shrimp with double okra, and when I called to complain, they ignored my calls, so I'm sure they have Caller ID.
