Locomani - Shizuoka

I was in shizuoka two days and my first lunch was so great that I came back with friends the next day. great quality and amazing desserts. I live in tokio, I'm sad I'm not coming here anymore! I recommend the daizu (soja) caraage, and the seasonal coward was excellent. the personal was also very accommodating I mentioned that I am not a fan of hijiki (a kind of seeweed) and that subbed a brand new side dish for my picky palette.

Beautiful small square near the train station. the people there speak English. eating is absolutely fantastic, prepared with love. I'm always coming back here.

Delicious taco-rice with choices of brown, white or half mixed rice. followed by “healthy Gateau-chocolat”. all vegan. seat for 15 in this small, retro-style caffe on tables window counter. friendly staff. Japanese menu: daily taco-rice regularly offered as well as cake, biscuits, organic fair trade coffee tee.

When you step into Locomani, it feels like entering a charming cabin in the woods straight out of a fairy-tale. The restaurant exudes a cozy and laid-back atmosphere, making it my preferred choice for dining out in Shizuoka during the day (I just wish it stayed open later). Located just a short walk from Shin-Shizuoka station, it is easily accessible. With a menu that changes with the seasons, visiting Locomani is always a delightful experience to sample different dishes. This popular restaurant caters to both vegans and non-vegans alike, so be sure to arrive early as the intimate space fills up quickly.
