Ananda - Shizuoka

The owner of Ananda is a nice lady who lived in California and thus speaks excellent English. There is also an English menu that is nice if you do not speak / read Japanese. It offers a set of Japanese menu that changes seasonal and delicious vegan sweets with different teas, coffees and juices. The restaurant and the shop have a very Bohemian coffee shop Vibe and a cozy, hidden away feel perfect for sitting and chatting with a friend about good food and tea. The shop has vegan and ethically made foods, soaps and cleaning products as well as handmade clothing and bags. They sell some of the best vegan Cheddar cheese I've ever had and others hard to get vegan products in Japan that is a huge point of sale for me!

Every day they have a different lunch menu for about 1300 yen. We enjoyed it so much! It was delicious. The owner is really friendly and speaks good English. You can also buy many vegan and environmentally friendly products and foods. They also serve drinks and cakes.
