Despite being fairly inexpensive compared to restaurants in Tokyo, the quality is still top-notch. There is an English menu available. However, it is important to note that the restaurant does not exclusively serve vegetarian dishes. We made the mistake of assuming they only served vegetarian food based on our previous visit, but ended up ordering a curry with a chicken base and fried pork. Make sure to double check your order to avoid any surprises.
Little Robot was a great find. I had emailed the cafe in advance to check they would be open. I'm so glad I did, as we arrived just at last order, and they said it was ok. I let them know I was vegan, and they recommended the veggie millet plate. My boyfriend had the mocoloco, which I also liked the sound of, but was advised it had some fish broth in. I'm glad they were honest in telling me, but perhaps check as the veggie menu may not all be vegan/vegetarian. There were no vegan desserts, but it was lovely to spend time there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the atmosphere was family friendly and relaxed. I'd recommend it.
I ordered the millet vegetable dish, which consisted of seitan, and it was served with a side of salad, rice, chickpea and lentil curry, and grilled vegetables with cashew nuts. The total cost was ¥1,300.
Have only one menu veggie and so especially tasted. good choice for almost the train station (progress for 10mins) and feel healthy
We ordered the pita plate and it was surprisingly good for japan!
