Had a blast here! The chef serves Japanese food with a modern twist. The dishes and drinks are priced very reasonably. The chef was very welcoming and made conversation with us. Be warned though: this place is very popular and wait times can be long. I therefore recommend making a reservation before you go!

We had an amazing experience at High Spirits! The owner has an amazing talent and passion for food pairings and new flavour combinations that made our evening! We would recommend this izakaya to all. The scallops and the mussels are a must have!

Food was delicious, can't imagine better food experience in Kawaguchiko! Scallop was the best choice you can't miss it! Chef makes very friendly atmosphere and if you are lucky sitting at bar you can observe how he prepares his small piece of arts. Fully recommending when you're in town!
