I have loved this place for years. The view and ambience are amazing as a local LI-er, I feel like I've really gone on vacation and not just on a day trip to shelter island. The scallops were OUTSTANDING perfectly cooked and in an amazing chowder. The lobster roll is so good with celery for crunch, and the burrata starter is amazing. My boyfriend loved the cucumber martini strong and worth the . Can't wait to go back.

Dinner here was extremely disappointing. Appetizer (ricotta) was pretty good but both our main dishes were awful- the roast chicken was so overly salted that I could barely eat a quarter of it. The gnocchi was totally flavorless and very over cooked. Cocktails were also bland. Further, the staff never checked on us during most of the meal, did not ask when we sent back two full plates, and never offered another round of drinks. The only saving grace is the beautiful water view, but plenty of establishments have lovely views on the island. Complete waste of money. Do not recommend.
