The food was okay, but as other reviewers noted, the meat was tough and chewy. The taquitos were a hit, as was the quesadilla. Forget splurging for the Cadillac Margarita, the Casa ones taste better. Overall, it did the job, but there's better options around.
The salsa was flavorless and dark brown. The chips tasted like they were cooked in rancid oil. I ordered the Taco Americano and the meat was tasteless. The taco shell also tasted like it was cooked in old oil. I couldn't even finish one taco shell. There was an unpleasant aftertaste that made me order a Coke to cleanse my palate. I do not recommend this restaurant. Taco Bell has much better tasting food.
This was my second visit to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, and the breakfast the next day was just as good. The service was fast and the staff was very helpful with recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised by the live music playing at a private party in the back room.
I'm really tired of blaming the Covid **** on why restaurants lose their greatness. This was at one point was a great Mexican restaurant, today we had an early dinner there (4pm) maybe 4 customers were in the restaurant. Ordered drinks then food, enchiladas we dry and tasteless, burrito pretty much the same, something different in the taste of their salsa. We won't be eating there anymore, 2 drinks and 2 meals $50 tip 20%, In my opinion, Taco Bell is now a step above Miguel's Cantina.
