Charlotte Lane - Shelburne

This was one of our cruise ship stops and we certainly didn’t expect to have one of our best meals ever in this small town. We live in Southern California and have access to fresh seafood but the preparation and the marrying of spices and flavors show plenty of thought that will delight anyone’s taste buds! My husband had the 35 dollar special that included their seafood chowder the best we’ve ever tasted. I had the beignet Thai shrimp maybe because I was curious how they managed that. Seemed like the shrimp was coated in beignet batter lightly. Not enough to overpower the shrimp. And again, the seasoning was superb. We shared the chocolate pie. Again perfection. Not too sweet perfectly flavored with the right amount of texture. We might even go back to Shelburne just to eat at this wonderful restaurant!

We had a wonderful late lunch at Charlotte Lane.The Chicken Tikka Masala was perfect and my partner enjoyed the seafood special of the day-scallops with crispy trout.We've been finding it harder to discover places along the South Shore to enjoy exceptional food but our meal this week was definitely the best we've had in 2023.Take a minute to check out the menu before you go so there are no surprises or disappointments.The service is exceptional.

This is a beautiful area and the food at this location was delicious. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for a second meal. Also a nice vibe and friendly service. The scallops were fantastic. Win, win, win.

Great place to eat while visiting Shelburne. Lovely decore. Started with the veggies fritters as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Great flavor and texture. The entrée being equally amazing. Thier signature cocktails were delicious and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent, responsive, and professional staff! Indian Tasting experience was wonderful, great variety and all was expertly prepared. Tremendous value, would highly recommend. I must note that when our party of three arrived we were not aware that it was a fixed menu evening. When we realized we’d not have time to make a concert on time because of the leisurely very appropriate) pace for such a special dining experience, we asked if we could have our remaining four courses prepared to go. Our server was so gracious and everything was beautifully packaged. Knowing that this must have been an inopportune time for such a request when they were as busy as they were, made this response doubly appreciated.
