Bongeunsa Temple 봉은사 - Seoul

The food at this restaurant is reasonably priced and nicely presented, although it may not be the most delicious Korean cuisine you've ever had, especially when compared to other excellent vegan options in Seoul. However, the experience, atmosphere, and service make it worthwhile to dine here.

I had rice with cabbage, greens, and soup at this restaurant for free! The building is located near the parking lot. I simply walked up and got in line. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

When you enter the restaurant, you'll see a lady sitting at a reception desk on your right. Make sure to ask for the sshik-pon. The canteen is close to the car park. I enjoyed a simple yet satisfying meal there. The temple is also stunningly beautiful.

I arrived 1215 on a Sunday. They close at 1230. The food ran out, therefore, there was a longer wait. The food was decent quality. I had rice with kimchee and a curry. It was free, so no complaints.
