Malga Sella Alm - Selva Di Val Gardena

Awesome place. Very nice atmosphere. We felt like home. I strongly recommend trying the Polenta dish with typical cheese and bacon. It’s wonderful. They also offer fresh milk from the their own cows which I also highly recommend. Only keep in mind that there’s no many places for cars so it is better to park your car on the nearest parking (about 600 meters) and take the trail behind the hotel. No more than 10 mins walking, and so much better than the expensive hotel restaurant. Thank you!

Amazing location and perfect place to sit and relax in the sunshine enjoying some local cousins. Jaw dropping views of the Dolomites. The local kids even played some music while we ate. Highly recommend the ragù and the rich pancakes.

Oh yes- come here for lunch. Mega views. Skip the mega-restaurant just up the hill, this gem is only 10 minutes down the hill. Continue on via the route 21 back into Selva, nice walk through the forest with running water nearby. Sella has clean toilets and drinkable tap water. Don’t pass it up.
