Ocean Palace - Selkirk

Great restaurant with wonderful food. All dishes made fresh and served piping hot. Had the consume to start and pleasantly surprised how good it is. The Chiw Mein #14 is my favorite. Enjoy

Good tasting and good size portions. Definitely priced right. Ordered take out and it was hot and ready when we got there. Staff was pleasant. Will order again.

My wife and I were busy and did not have time to make dinner. I called Ocean Palace and ordered the Lemon Chicken, Cantonese Chow Mein and Chicken Fried Rice. I was told it would be 20 to 30 minutes. I drove to the Ocean Palace. There were no customers in the restaurant. My order was ready when I arrived. When I arrived at home the food was still very hot. The food was fresh, and the portions were very good. It was not greasy. We quite enjoyed our meal. It was as consistent as usual.

I was happy to have found this little gem during our last visit to the area. My in laws have been raving about it, so I had high expectations. Their breaded veal is to die for very light crisp breading and a lot of meat. It's tender and delicious every time we order it (a lot). It comes in a sweet and sour version as well, which is just as great.Their vegetables are well cooked and flavored, not mushy my kids actually loved their broccoli! The owners are also very sweet. They are happy to accommodate any request you ask of them. We've even taken to bringing in our own freshly caught fish for them to cook for us, and wow it is fantastic. Highly recommended.

My wife and I both got home late and decided the easiest thing to do would be to order in. We had not had Chinese food in some time and decided to order take out. I ordered the Cantonese Chow Mein, Honey Garlic Veal, Lemon Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I are there were no vehicles in front and when I entered there was no one in the restaurant. It was later in the evening. When I got home everything was still very hot. The food was hot and was not greasy. The honey garlic and lemon sauces were good. The portions were very good. Most items are under $10.00. We were quite pleased with our meal and had leftovers for the next day. No hesitation to order from Ocean Palace again.
