Location is the only thing this place has going for itUsed to enjoy the original Half Moon, with the Half Moon shaped buildings.

A friend put me on to this place, thought we would drive the half hour to give it a try. Had the Bacon Cheese Burger and Poutine with a Pepsi.The poutine was good (average), at least with real cheese curd.The Burgers were Poor, YUCK!! Buns were super dry, patty was tasteless, dry and rubbery obviously frozen. The wife took 2 bites and threw it out, I ate half mine. What this place has going for it is location, history and tourists that keep it going, thats about it.IF YOU WANT A SENSATIONAL HAND MADE GOURMET BURGER THATS THE BEST IN THE INTERLAKE AREA, GO TO "TRAILS NORTH GRILL" IN WARREN, MB AND HAVE THE MURPHY BURGER OR BACON CHEESEBURGER. I promise you will give me a + VOTE for the tip!

The decor and the food are both of top quality here. The owners clearly care about you having a unique and enjoyable experience. Cudos to whoever is the driving force behind this place. We always bring friends and family here when they come to visit. Sitting out back with a view of the river as the sun goes down in summer is an experience not to be missed. Although this is a bit outside Winnipeg, I would say it's one of the cities top attractions. The drive up Henderson Highway is quite beautiful as well.
