We ordered takeout and were more than disappointed in the quality and quantity of food. Butter Chicken was about 12-15 very small bites of chicken, swimming in a seperated mess with a half inch of oil or what might have been seperated butter floating on a blob of curdled goo. We tried to mix the sauce, but it just stayed seperated. The Puttu with chicken curry turned out to be 3 drumsticks floating in another separated sauce. We found very little flavour in these two dishes. Our third dish was Kerala stye fried chicen. This consisted of the same 12 -15 bits of chicken with burnt onions. All this for $58. Very disappointing. Nothing could make us go back.
Absolutely delicious, wonderful food with the nicest staff imaginable! Do yourself a favor and order food from Vinnie's, you'll be very pleased!
Crunchy and juicy as well! Right mixes of spices and as it's savory aroma reaches your nose you could get the taste clucking you for more! That's genuine South Indian chicken fry by all means and Vinnies has done it.(of CHICKEN FRY FEST 2019) so guys go and taste run a Brand in anvil!
This place serves up some very good Indian Food but the portions are small medium. I suppose what you might sacrifice in quantity is made up in quality. If you like Indian food then give this place a try it is not your usual food court or buffet style Indian food and we enjoyed it very much.
Very surprised to find a real Indian restaurant in Selkirk. The food was top notch and very friendly staff. Food took some time but you could tell each dish was made from scratch. We had Vindelo and buttered chicken. The soups were also very delicious. Garlic Nan bread was fresh out of the kiln. We will definitely be back!
