Joy's Bakery - Sedro Woolley

We live in Woolley and have consistently enjoyed our visits to Joy's Bakery. The staff is friendly and remembers us, which adds a nice personal touch. We usually go for breakfast, and my husband orders the same dish every time, which the waitstaff knows by heart. Their eggs benedict is delicious and often sells out quickly. I've also tried the coconut cake, which is fantastic, and honestly, I've never had a bad meal there! I love their burgers and fries, and all the baked goods are freshly made, including their bread; the only exception is the rye, which is still one of my favorites. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The food lacks flavor, everything seems to be pre-cooked, and the burger tastes like it was frozen before being served.

This place certainly serves the best breakfast in West Washington. Maybe in the country, but I didn't travel far enough to make this statement.

Probably the best chicken fried steak I ever had was homemade sourdough and jam to go with was awesome. Children got pancakes and cocoa they loved, and the waiting staff was great. My boy spilled his cocoa all over the table, so he was visibly annoyed, and even more then our waitress helped brush him on his back, knock him on his back and tell him it was okay and just got him another immediately.

I absolutely love this place! We work at the Shell plant and stay at the KOA nearby. The staff is always friendly and remembers our drink orders before we even make them. Plus, the breakfast is fantastic, especially after our night shifts!
