Mccutchen's Magnolia House - Scottsboro

Very bad experience. Our waitress took our order brought us our food out and never returned. We did not have any thousand Island for our salad except the one that she brought out for my wife but never return to bring mine. I ordered hamburger steak which come out on my plate as just a hamburger patty I was very disappointed. She never returned our table we had to go and find someone to pay for our mail at the cash register. We will never return

If you don't know it's here you most likely not stumble upon it. Great food and large portions. Try the strawberry butter on your roll. Remember 11am to 2pm only

Old run down house looks nice outside. We came on Sunday which to be fair is only Buffet style on Sunday. Food was warm at best. Stuffed into rooms to eat. Felt like i was a kid again at granmas. Would not be back unless meals a la carte during the week are better and can get my own room...lol

Good Southern cooking. Our server was great, however the rest of the staff didn 't seem as welcoming. The wear and tear really shows unfortunately, as we noticed one of our chairs and a high chair we requested looked like they were falling apart, (screws weren 't fastened) so my wife sat our kid on her lap the entire meal. If you go for Lunch on Sundays, make sure your entire group goes up to get food at the same time or you might get an unexpected rush of people and then

We were on vacation and stopped in at the Unclaimed Baggage and one of the ladies in there told us about the place. The food was really good, people standing in line. The house was so cute and the people were supper nice and helpful, even though they were short handed.
